To promote the new ski holidays option on the easyJet holidays website, the holidays blog team are giving away 5 of our favourite ski-related films – because even if you can’t ski to save your life, you can still enjoy watching other people do it well!

So strap on your boots and goggles, and get ready for the drive of your life, with some of the fastest paced, most dangerous and out-right hilarious ski moments ever caught on film. From those epic #Skifail moments to some plain epic skiing with the likes of Roger Moore, Leonardo Dicaprio and Tom Hardy.

For your chance to win, all you need to do is retweet this post, follow the @easyJetholidays Twitter account and also mention which is your favourite ski-related movie so the team know which film you'd like.

First up, everyone’s favourite Brit Bridget Jones:

Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason is the underappreciated sequel to Bridget Jones’ Diary. In this instalment Bridget and Mark head to Austrian resort Lech-Zϋrs for a romantic mini-break, the ensuing scenes set up one of the best and funniest examples of how not to ski downhill. Bridget’s #skifail seems certain to go down in history as the term ‘doing a Bridget’ has become a popular expression on the slopes.

Inception

Inception

The 2010 film Inception is a fast-paced adventure through a landscape cooked up by various ‘dream architects’. Explosives teams set off ‘avalanche bombs’ to create this impressive avalanche, ski chase scene - skiing through an avalanche is perhaps best enjoyed vicariously. All you need do is enter to win!

Dumb and Dumber

There’s dumb, and then there’s really dumb. That said, who didn’t try this after seeing 1995 blockbuster Dumb and Dumber? Another perfect example of a #skifail – this time involving a ski lift!

Hot Tub Time Machine

In Hot Tub time machine a group of guys head to a ski resort for a raucous, boozy adventure up in the mountains – and get a lot more than they bargain for when they discover the titular hot tub. Set in a ski resort, though few scenes actually involved any skiing, this smash hit movie might be just the kind of ski holiday for you (If don’t fancy doing much skiing).

Chalet Girl

Starring Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick, and Brit actress Felicity Jones (The Tempest, The Worst Witch) Chalet Girl is a St Trinian’s style romp whose sarcasm grants it more credibility than you might think. Kids as well as grownups will enjoy this predictable love story about pro-skateboarder-turned-chalet girl Kim, who falls in love with the rich, angsty American Jonny. A real feel good flick, with some surprising  snowboarding action thrown in for good measure.

James Bond: The Spy Who Loved Me

Showing off his ski prowess amongst other things, Roger Moore stars as James Bond in the 1977 The Spy Who Loved Me. The dashing spy cuts an instantly recognisable figure, one that Milk Tray famously borrowed for a series of 19 ads from the 60s to the 00s. No one does skiing with style better than Bond, and this clip encompasses everything he is known for. Enjoy!

- To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is retweet this post, follow the @easyJetholidays Twitter account and also mention which is your favourite ski-related movie.
